we metamorph space into art,
a haven to breathe and live
At Metamorph Design, we believe that design is a form of artistic expression with the power to transform not only physical spaces but also the lives of those who inhabit them. Our philosophy is grounded in the notion that each space has its own unique character and purpose, and that the role of the designer is to unlock its full potential and create a harmonious balance between form and function.
In recent years, we have expanded our approach to include branding & visualdesign services. This evolution allows us to provide a holistic design experience, seamlessly integrating brand identity with spatial design. By understanding and reflecting the essence of a brand in both physical spaces and visual identity, we enhance the overall impact and coherence of our clients' environments.
We believe in the importance of listening closely to our clients, understanding their individual needs and desires, and translating these into thoughtful and creative design solutions. Our aim is to enhance their quality of life and business presence through a unified design approach that reflects their unique vision and goals.
uncompromising quality in materials and craftmanship
Our commitment to exceptional quality and excellence extends to the materials we select and the craftsmanship we deliver.
By default, we choose only the finest and eco-friendly materials for our projects. Our carpentry is crafted with certified formaldehyde-free (E-0) wood, ensuring lasting durability and a healthier indoor environment for since 2013. To enhance functionality and reliability, we exclusively use genuine BLUM® ironmongeries, renowned for their precision and longevity.
Our team of designers and skilled artisans work in harmony to ensure every project detail meets our high standards. From concept to execution and final installation, we strive for perfection, creating spaces that not only stand the test of time but also elevate beauty and functionality in your environment.
What’s Formaldehyde?
Formaldehyde (CH₂O) is a versatile chemical used in various construction products that poses health risks at elevated levels. Prolonged exposure can lead to irritation of the eyes, nose, and throat, as well as respiratory concerns like asthma and dermatitis. High concentrations are also associated with certain cancers, making formaldehyde a particular concern for both homeowners and industry professionals. Singapore’s tropical climate can intensify formaldehyde release, with off-gassing—pollutant emissions from materials—worsening in heat and humidity, potentially impacting indoor air quality. In light of these concerns, the National Environment Agency (NEA) has announced a ban on the sale of formaldehyde-containing interior paints in Singapore, effective from 1 January 2026. Additionally, the NEA is assessing potential regulations for formaldehyde levels in composite wood products and adhesives as well as other frequently used materials.
